Inco (short for Incognito) is an EVM protocol with on-chain confidentiality utilizing fully homomorphic encryption (FHE). Our fhEVM (FHE + EVM) makes it possible to write private smart contracts and perform computations on top of encrypted data without requiring its decryption. fhEVM can safely and painlessly enable multi-party use cases such as private voting, confidential payments, or card games because the encrypted states are directly stored and managed on-chain. Inco is compatible with the solidity language and existing toolsets, e.g., Metamask, Hardhat, and Remix.
